Terms of service.
Your rights and responsibilities when you use IONISS. Written to be read, not to be impenetrable. Last updated 10 September 2026.
Overview
Welcome to IONISS. The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to IONISS. We operate this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the “Services”).
The terms and conditions below, together with any policies referenced in them (these “Terms of Service” or “Terms”), describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.
Please read these Terms carefully. They include important information about your legal rights and cover areas such as warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.
By visiting, interacting with or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to them, you should not use or access our Services.
1. Access and account
By agreeing to these Terms you confirm that you are at least the age of majority where you live, and that you consent to any minor dependents using the Services on devices you own or manage.
To use the Services, including browsing our store or buying anything, you may be asked to provide information such as your email address and billing, payment and shipping details. You confirm that everything you provide is correct, current and complete, and that you have the rights necessary to provide it.
You are solely responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity on your account. You may not transfer, sell, assign or license your account to anyone else.
2. Our products
We have made every effort to represent our products accurately. Colours and appearance may still differ from what you see on your screen, depending on your device and its settings. Hematite is also a natural stone, so small variations in tone, finish and marking between beads are inherent to the material rather than defects.
We do not warrant that the appearance or quality of any product will meet your expectations or match exactly how it is depicted in our store. All product descriptions are subject to change at any time without notice. We may discontinue any product at any time, and may limit quantities on a case by case basis.
3. Orders
When you place an order you are making an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline it. Your order is not accepted until we confirm acceptance, and we must receive and process your payment before that happens. Please review your order carefully before submitting it, as we may be unable to accommodate a cancellation once an order has been accepted and dispatched.
If we do not accept, change or cancel an order, we will try to notify you using the email address, billing address or phone number given at the time of the order.
Your purchases are subject to return or exchange in accordance with our Refund Policy, and shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy.
You confirm that your purchases are for your own personal or household use, and not for commercial resale or export.
4. Prices and billing
Prices, discounts and promotions may change without notice. The price charged is the price in effect when the order is placed, and it will be set out in your order confirmation email. Unless stated otherwise, posted prices include VAT where applicable and include free UK delivery.
From time to time we may run promotions governed by their own terms. Where those conflict with these Terms, the promotion terms govern.
You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase, payment and account information, and to update it promptly so that we can complete your transactions and contact you when needed.
You confirm that the payment details you provide are true and complete, that you are authorised to use that payment method, and that you will pay the charges incurred at the posted prices, including any applicable taxes.
5. Shipping and delivery
All delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or events outside our control. Full detail is in our Shipping Policy and on the delivery and returns page.
6. Intellectual property
Our Services, including all trade marks, brands, text, displays, images, graphics, product reviews, video and audio, and the design, selection and arrangement of them, are owned by IONISS, its affiliates or its licensors, and are protected by UK and foreign copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws.
These Terms permit you to use the Services for your personal, non commercial use only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store or transmit any material from the Services without our prior written consent. Nothing in these Terms grants you a licence or other rights under any patent, trade mark, copyright or other intellectual property. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
The IONISS name, logo, product and service names, designs and slogans are trade marks of IONISS or its licensors, and you must not use them without our prior written permission. All other names, logos and marks on the Services belong to their respective owners.
7. Optional tools
You may be given access to tools offered by third parties that we neither monitor nor control. We provide access to such tools on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties, representations or conditions of any kind and without endorsement. We have no liability arising from your use of them.
Any use of optional tools is entirely at your own risk, and you should make sure you are familiar with and approve of the terms on which the relevant third party provides them. Any new features we offer in future are also part of the Services and subject to these Terms.
8. Third party links
The Services may contain material and links to websites operated by third parties, including embedded third party functionality. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating their content or accuracy. If you choose to leave the Services to access them, you do so at your own risk.
We are not liable for any harm related to your access of third party websites, or your purchase or use of any products or services on them. Please review their policies before you transact with them, and direct any complaints about their products or services to them.
9. Our platform and payment providers
Any sale or purchase you make in our store is made directly with IONISS. We use third party providers to operate the store: Railway for hosting and our order database, Stripe for payment processing, Resend for transactional email, and Royal Mail for delivery. Those providers act on our instructions and are not party to the contract between you and us. Details of what each of them handles are in our Privacy Policy.
10. Privacy
All personal information we collect through the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the Services you acknowledge that you have read it.
11. Feedback
If you submit any ideas, suggestions, feedback, reviews, proposals or other content (“Feedback”), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, sublicensable, royalty free licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute and display it in any medium for any purpose, including commercial use.
You confirm that you own or have the rights to all Feedback you submit, that you have disclosed any compensation or incentive received in connection with it, and that it complies with these Terms. We are under no obligation to keep Feedback confidential, to pay for it, or to respond to it.
We may, but are not obliged to, monitor, edit or remove Feedback we consider unlawful, offensive, threatening, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable, or that infringes anyone’s rights. Your Feedback must not contain anything unlawful, abusive or obscene, or any virus or malware. You must not use a false email address or impersonate anyone. You are solely responsible for the Feedback you submit and its accuracy.
12. Errors, inaccuracies and omissions
Occasionally there may be information in the Services that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, shipping charges, transit times or availability. We reserve the right to correct any of these, and to change or update information or cancel orders, at any time without prior notice, including after you have submitted your order.
13. Prohibited uses
You may access and use the Services for lawful purposes only. You may not use them: for any unlawful or malicious purpose; to violate any laws or regulations; to infringe our intellectual property rights or those of others; to harass, abuse, defame or harm any person; to transmit false or misleading information; to send unsolicited advertising or spam; to impersonate any person or entity; or to engage in conduct that restricts anyone else’s use of the Services or exposes us or our users to liability.
You also agree not to upload or transmit viruses or malicious code; to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell or resell any part of the Services; to collect or track the personal information of others; to spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl or scrape; or to interfere with or circumvent security features of the Services. We may suspend, disable or terminate your account at any time, without notice, if we determine you have breached any part of these Terms.
14. Termination
We may terminate this agreement or your access to the Services at any time and at our discretion, and you will remain liable for all amounts due up to and including the date of termination.
The following sections continue to apply after termination: Intellectual property, Feedback, Termination, Disclaimer of warranties, Limitation of liability, Indemnification, Severability, Waiver and entire agreement, Assignment, Governing law, Privacy, and any other provision that by its nature should survive.
15. What the product is, and is not
IONISS bracelets are jewellery and wellbeing accessories. They are not medical devices, and nothing on this site is medical advice. Any reference to grounding, balance or focus describes cultural and historical associations with hematite, not clinical effects. If something is affecting your health or wellbeing, please speak to a qualified professional.
16. Disclaimer of warranties
The information presented through the Services is made available for general information purposes only. We do not warrant its accuracy, completeness or usefulness, and any reliance you place on it is at your own risk.
Except as expressly stated by us, the Services and all products offered through them are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without representation, warranties or conditions of any kind, either express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, durability, title and non infringement. We do not guarantee that your use of the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error free.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
17. Limitation of liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, neither IONISS nor our partners, directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, service providers or licensors will be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential loss or damage of any kind, including lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data or replacement costs, arising from your use of the Services or any product bought through them. Otherwise our total liability is limited to the price you paid for the goods.
18. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless IONISS and our affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, licensors and service providers from any losses, damages, liabilities or claims, including reasonable legal fees, payable to any third party arising out of your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or the rights of a third party, or your access to and use of the Services.
We will notify you of any indemnifiable claim, although a failure to notify promptly will not relieve you of your obligations unless you are materially prejudiced. We may control the defence and settlement of such a claim at your expense, but will not settle any claim requiring non monetary obligations from you without your consent, which will not be unreasonably withheld. You will cooperate in the defence of indemnified claims.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, it will still be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the unenforceable part will be severed. That will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
20. Waiver and entire agreement
Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of it.
These Terms, together with any policies posted on this site, constitute the entire agreement between you and us and govern your use of the Services, superseding any prior agreements, communications and proposals, whether oral or written, including any earlier version of these Terms. Any ambiguity will not be construed against the drafting party.
21. Assignment
You may not delegate, transfer or assign these Terms or any of your rights or obligations under them without our prior written consent, and any attempt to do so is void. We may transfer, assign or delegate these Terms and our rights and obligations without your consent.
22. Governing law
These Terms, and any separate agreement under which we provide you Services, are governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction. Nothing here deprives you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
23. Headings
The headings in this agreement are for convenience only and do not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.
24. Changes to these terms
You can review the most current version of these Terms at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of them by posting changes to our website, and it is your responsibility to check periodically. We will notify you of material changes as required by law, and those changes take effect on the date specified in the notice. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of them.
